Summertime. A magical time. A time of wonder, exploration, and becoming. Time to explore the neophiliac in all of us. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean what you think it does. With the ambling pretentiousness of school behind and ahead of us, neurons come alive with the excitement of possibility; a smorgasbord of hot activities fueled by the heat themselves.
Summers means many things to many people. Summer, for some, could be the sweaty yet excitable dreading of a cavity search yet to come, instigated by the near felonious disruption of the world’s most famous bike race. A more hilarious “HI MOM!” has never been uttered. Beside, spandex is a privilege…not a right. That goes double for you bike people. For others, it’s about celebrating Earth Day everyday, which means pulling a reverse Linda Blair on the 2×4’s at Home Depot.
Bet that’s fun. Some day drink. Others watch TikTok vs YouTube exhibition boxing matches, because who doesn’t like idiots punching each other? You can binge shark week, cheer on your country at the Olympics, hike, bike, travel, taste, smell, see, and on…and on…and on…and on. Oh, the possibilities of summer. Vin Diesel is spending his summer trying to plan a Fast & Furious musical (which is why he’s Satan in disguise, but that’s for another blog post). Yep…there’s quite a variety of human behaviors to enjoy and partake in during the magical airs of the most wonderful time of the year…it’s summer, not Christmas time, so get out of here with that one Mariah Carey song. You can even do this if it tickles your fancy…whatever this is, of course…

One thing that has become quite trendy in the past few years during the summer months is to follow your favorite food truck! We here in Western Colorado have a bit of an affinity for food trucks, given the fact that we have a regular food truck Friday throughout the hot months.
