Music. It’s life. Take all the affirmation you need for that anecdote from the fact that when people pump your chest CPR style, say after you horked a bologna sandwich too fast, it’s to the sweet circadian rhythms of perhaps The Bee Gees seminal hit “Staying Alive” or maybe Missy Elliot’s “Work It”, or even Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust.” That last one there has got to be one of the best puns I’ve ever heard. I digress, because I’m throwing you some love musically. The jams I’m jamming in my jam hole, only now you can jam it in all the jam holes. Or however it works in your house.
Glass Animals…always good. Reference their “Zaba” album for good measure here.
DJ Snake…doing what he does best. Hitting you with that DROP! Enjoy.
If you haven’t heard of these guys yet…you will soon. Acid funk meets psychedelic rock. Like if George Clinton met Jimmy Hendrix then went to Neil Young’s house to do major drugs and build a spaceship out of backyard materials.
Sam Spiegel keeping it funky. You’ll enjoy the Cee-Lo features, as well as Theophilius from across the pond. A nice, neat, simple banger to turn up when you don’t want to talk to the world.
Run The Jewels…RTJ4…dynamite. Enjoy ’em.
Thanks for the time, and enjoy the tracks. It’s nothing but love baby…
