Following in the footsteps of Mesa County, both Montrose and Garfield Counties have had their variances approved by the Colorado government. What that means…is explained in a lot of big words that look like mumbo jumbo, or perhaps something Gandalf The Bureaucrat would say if he was casting some sort of spell in the novel “The Lord Of The Red Tape”. It also means that both counties can implement reopening strategies that are better suited to their local and regional situations, rather than state and nationwide restrictions that in place thanks to the old ‘Rona.
